Jesus is God !

What do you know about the Trinity? Do you think Jesus did not create the universe and everything in it? Do you doubt what the Bible says in one passage because of your misinterpretation of another passage?

  1. Colossians 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were createdby him, and for him:

  2. Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Why do you skip verse 15?
Marke for over seventy years I have studied his words. For fifty of thoes years I believed in the Trinity. But now I have a better understanding of who Jesus was/is. Jesus was controlled by the spirit that came with the dove, that spirit is the true son that was at the creation and it spoke through Jesus. Heb 1:3 speaks of a son that is the express image of God, God is a spirit and so is the son who received the fullness of his Father. That spirit is a created form of God.

Having doubts about verses does not prove clear interpretations of those verses wrong. If you are just now uncovering inconsistencies after 70 years let me suggest the problem is not the Bible and not God but you. Jesus made all things so that means He is God just as the Father is God. Just because humans have problems understanding that fact does not mean the truth is actually a lie.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Don't forget the Orthodox churches Keypurr. Catholicism and Orthodoxy together comprise 60% of all the world's Christians, and it's only in the other 40% where we find anybody who doesn't believe that God is the Trinity. And Catholicism and Orthodoxy are the only Christian traditions that date back to the Apostolic era Keypurr, don't forget about that either. The other 40% of Christian traditions were invented way after the Apostles walked the earth, but Catholicism and Orthodoxy both can trace their beginning to the Apostles. And both Catholicism and Orthodoxy are 100% fully Trinitarian. Don't forget.
Many are called, FEW are chosen. I disagree with your history. Christ taught is to keep the commandments in our hearts and mind, the RCC tried to alter them and punished the folks who kept them. You need to do a study on the book of Daniel.

Col 1:15 disagrees with you.
Heb 1:3 also disagrees with you as all images are creations.
I could go on and on but you will not see truth.

Jesus is God because:

He created the world out of nothing, by his omnipotent Word (Gen. 1:1; Isa. 45:12; John 1:1-3; Heb. 11:3). He upholds, sustains, and rules the world, by his omnipotent power (Col. 1:16-17; Heb. 1:3)
Where did he get his POWER? It was given to him by his creator. Your not questioning traditional mistakes.

Just don't forget about Orthodoxy Keypurr. That's all I'm saying. You're fixated on Catholicism, but Orthodoxy is as equally Trinitarian as Catholicism, and just as ancient.

Wrong. Colossians 1:15 does not disagree with other verses which clearly state Jesus created all things.
jesus did not pre-exist his birth, the spirit IN him did. The dove brought the true Son to dwell in Jesus and spoke through him. See Heb 10: and learn who/what needed a body prepared for him/it. That spirit had the power of his creator, that spirit is the true son. God created all things through that spirit son.

Example, Gen 1; .......and the spirit of God moved across the face of the waters....

I believe that the early church became evil by men who believed the world was flat.

🤔 we agree and have thought about this. Jesus called the Father "God." ??? He is. In Philippians 2 Jesus 'emptied himself.' Power ("authority," in Matthew 28:18, "over the gospel" (did you perhaps miss that?) What is the thing missed? : idunno: Try and remember, your previous understanding wasn't triune. It was more tritheism/modalism disconnected. Triune, on all your above verses, share in the truth of these scriptures BUT we try and not make OUR assumptions part of the formula for understanding scriptures. There is a careful wade and until one reads all of God's description of Himself in scripture, we must stave off summary.
Philippians 2, it is not Jesus who emptied himself it was WHO was IN Jesus.

You claim it was the spirit in Jesus which pre-existed. How does denying Jesus' deity support the idea that Jesus and God have the same spirit and are both to be worshiped as the singular God?

Matthew 4:10
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Hebrews 1:6
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Sorry JR, Forgive my old age please.

No, you don't get that excuse, after you've repeatedly claimed that you're smarter on this topic than everyone here because you've studied scriptures most of your very long life, and even once more after that post!

You can't have your cake and eat it too, Keypurr.

Maybe you should soften your heart and be willing to be taught, rather than trying to teach.

Apostolic succession is such an iffy thing. First it is about being trained well, which Roman priests aren't, Then it is about pretending to come from Peter who died in Babylon the great enemy of Israel.

So let's scratch out verses like Col 1:15 then. That verse is very clear friend. You can not twist truth to fit your faith
Col 1:15

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: Thats the Man Mediator. Christ is two beings in One, God the Word and the Man Christ Jesus. Cant scratch that out. As the Eternal Logos Jn 1:1 He is uncreated, unbegotten and God, as the Man Christ Jesus He is Mediator and begotten from eternity !

My heart is soft and what I share is truth. I have been given a deep understanding of certain things in scripture and it an open mind to digest it. Truth runs deeper than what you have learned.

It is sad that you really think that. There is so much more in truth you miss.
