  • Interesting bit in the Reformed Theology group, though I can't say I understand all of it. Is this a common position among the Reformed? Can I read about it elsewhere? Also, what is the general split in Christianity regarding Rationalism and Empiricism? Thanks :e4e:
Yes! I've read through it several times! (thanks for the perma-link!)
Thank you for your posting and for calling my attention to it. I very much enjoyed reading it. It gives me lots to think about.
Read your notice in parting from that other consideration. Well and honorably done, friend of mine. The high road is always best. :e4e:
Keeping you and your lovely wife in my ongoing prayers and I suspect you may be right about LA. I let it go on a little longer than I should have...now the new Nick is another matter. He's been too much fun to release...until the latest at any rate. He literally doesn't appear to understand what he's saying now and again in a rather pained effort to keep up an appearance. I started to break his construction down for him, but then the flavor went out of the gum and now I don't know. :chuckle:
I have been reading (sort of) the dialog between Frank Ernest and Letsargue in Letsargue's thread "Where are Yoouuuu~~~" in the Back Alley part of the forum. Frank Ernest seems to lest frustrated by this Letargue than I am; maybe F/E can have a better reasoning with L/A.
Rep box about Letsargue, "hope you have better luck than I have with this fellow." I think there no reasoning with this fellow, and I have also reached an impasse; I believe with Letsargue it is I'm right and everybody else is wrong, and a lot of what Letsargue post just seems vague. Well so much for, "Come now let us reason together."

So I'll stay with my mission of "Hope, Help and Comfort"

BTW - How have you and your wife been doing? May the Joy of the Lord be your strength!
Well done, you. Reading Nick on Simone I'm reminded of "I fall upon the thorns of life! I bleed!" :chuckle:
Glad to see that's resolved then. I've been having a bit of fun with al and this new Nick fellow, who is apparently in love with Simone Weil and may or may not be a fifteen year old girl. :plain:
Yep. Hil is taking on Squish. Apparently, my milder back and forth wasn't what he had in mind. :chuckle: Should be interesting.
I'm very happy to hear about your wife's successful surgery. Prayers continuing that she will have a speedy and uncomplicated recovery.
Wife is home from successful second total knee replacement surgery, this time on the left leg. Lots of pain, but she is coping. Thank you all for any prayers lifted up on her behalf.

    AMR
Glad all is o.k. I have not heard of Beeke, but of course, will go looking.
