The loss of true Philology is lamentable, however funny that video is. I think you'd be shocked at how closely I've always aligned with the Reformed tradition, despite my many challenges in many areas of doctrine. But that's the mantra of the Reformed tradition. Always reforming according to the word of God. The English language, despite its overwhelming initial hindrances and structural issues for translation, is the most vital tool for depth, breadth, and height of expression for the ontological Gospel in the history of mankind extant. All the more crucial to get it right in every detail of tedious minutiae, IMHO.

Is this in contrast to, or in support of, my general comments about logical fallacies? Talk more, please.
The foundational underlying objective reality of/for logos is the hypostasis of the one God and Father who created all things by the word of His power.

My Original Sin comment was a prompting for addressing the topic in an effective manner rather than the tired mantra which those opposing Original Sin already reject and will not hear because they don't know it's about the conceived condition and unavoidable concupiscence in the heart instead of acting and actions. They will never respond to something they can't help but misrepresent in ignorance. This contributes to many other fallacies. They are not listening, for they think you are saying something besides what I know you mean.

I was just reading your 26 March blog post on bible trivia and facts. Thanks for putting that together. I'm not sure what to do with some of the information, but it is fun to look over.

I noticed some inconsistencies in the following section:

A number of verses in the KJV contain all but 1 letter of the alphabet:
- Ezra 7:21 contains all but the letter j (earlier in post you said this verse contains every letter)
- Joshua 7:24, 1 Kings 1:9, 1 Chronicles 12:40, 2 Chronicles 36:10, Ezekiel 28:13 KJV, Daniel 4:37, and Haggai 1:1 contain all but q (Eze 28:13 actually has a q and all other letters in the default NKJV pop-up)
- 2 Kings 16:15 and 1 Chronicles 4:10 contain all but z (I think you mean "all but x")
- Galatians 1:14 contains all but k (this one also does not contain q in the default NKJV pop-up. if you add "KJV" without the quotes, the pop-up shows the "q")

Funny how things go. I was only just speaking with Jack's teacher about introverts and my concern that cooperative learning, taken to excess, could work against them as a learning group. Now Jack is an extrovert, but watching and listening to a number of introverts both here and in my academic environment already had me rethinking the popular approach. At least it seemed to me that we should mix and match a bit given half (and I suspect more) of the students in an average class will be introverts.

Apparently it is with relative ease that CR gives me his "goat." So I'm after it again.

I think you posted your answer on your own page... lain: :chuckle: I'm currently using a Chrome app called Night Mode, that is really quite pleasant. It replaces the white with black, lets me control the degree of dimming without impinging on photos and it turns the Blue bits a burnt orange...unless you're using TOL Purple, in which case you get a regrettable green. For now I think this will do. Thanks though. :thumb:

We were very fortunate. The worst went north and south of us. A lot of wind and soft wood collection in the aftermath, but nothing to complain about beyond the unforeseen exercise. Someone said you'd come up with a way to make this new business around TOL easier on the eyes.
