  • I have relocated again, back here and it tired me out. Now I have the thought that until I can manage to get the Swine influenza vaccine, I might catch it and die. I am not letting anyone touch me until it is available to me. I think there should be more effort in vaccinate old and infirmed persons. It all seems taken too lightly, just as in all cases of influenza; no one seems to consider how many person die of the disease.
Taking a few days off, are you? :e4e: Put on some Miles Davis in the "What are you listening to..." thread. Still recovering from the flu. Hope you're well. :e4e:
You waxed poetic in your last discourse! however, seems some are taking it as 'pessimistic' - i didnt see it that way,....heck,...look at what the Preacher wrote in Ecclesiastes, its a good contrast to at least see all the evil/sorrow/tragedy in the world, yet know that only 'God' is the Eternal Good (the divine Reality that holds!)
In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was with God.

The Trinity is a mystery, taken on faith that we cannot know all of God in this life, we can only have faith and for such a faith, reward is the peace of knowing the direction one takes, the one pleasing to God. Hard to conceptualise, but not impossible to follow,
Hi Ktoyou,....my versatility enables me to enjoy 'God' in all his facets, features, forms and attributes. I choose to be a Unitarian, because it feels right, solidly planted in the soil of Gods Absolute Oneness, His primal Unity. His Indivisibility is Singular....the Infinite One. I can also entertain and conceptualize 'God' within a Trinity, and even within an extended Heirarchy or pantheon of gods and goddesses :) Its all 'God' anyways.

I may revive my Unitarian or Arian threads, just to heckle the trinity troopers ;)
I will be heading for Atlanta in just awhile; I have a few physicians I have to see, one tomorrow. Then one in two weeks and a last one at the end on this month, then its back home again. I will be in bed travelling all the way home, yes home again, all the way.
I thought you were still in Arkansas. I'll be in Buckhead goofing with a few old pals and then the concert and, depending on how tired I am, a five hour plus drive back home or a nice hotel along the way...probably the former (I sleep very little) but who knows what I'll feel like after battling Atlanta traffic.
I heard of it, I do believe, will have to listen if you have a youtube track, thanks
In regards to “Womens Lib-Destroying Family”
Perhaps this might be a good idea, put some threads in the “Toy Department” so the newcomers and guests realise we have a sense of humour and we recognise this malarkey for what it is, just nonsense!

    My full response is here
You have said many things I cannot address all at once. Let me share one idea: one cannot come to God out of fear of hell; one cannot love whom they fear; God know your motives, He wants us to come to Him out of love, not fear. The trouble with many on this forum and in life in general is they believe Christian only obey God out of fear; I see it in many arguments, one claims that God give one only a choice to love Him or burn in hell. This is an ongoing argument why so many turn against God, they think God demands obedience and if not given He punishes. The desire of God is that we come to know Him and from knowing Him, we love Him. This is what I mean, hell is not going to get you to heaven, loving God is the way. Later..
You might know I see God only as a positive force, no hell.

Amen. Heaven and hell exist in duality-perception as long as conditions as such exist to be experienced, but 'God' is the subsuming Ground of all that Exists, and ultimately is the Only Reality. Classically and mystically we identify 'God' as the 'Eternal Good', for His Ultimacy of divine Will is rooted in Love. Praise the Lord ! Come what may of evil, sin, death, tragedy,...its all just part of the play of illusion(this mortal coil, veil of tears), until it is all consumed in the Light , which is All that is Real.

May all Joy sustain you, as your contributions even in this season of life, even on this forum....play a part in the unfolding of the divine Will. Wonderful isnt it?
No, it is Lillian Gish taken in 1918, I did some drama and did look like Gish in my teens.
Yes, Bob is upset because he sees how sick I am and now he will most likely bury me. I think it is a bit true, husbands think their wife will be there when their time comes. My illness came as a big surprise, I was always healthy before this. I do think a loved one may worry more than the one ill. I can handle this illness, but Bob has only me now, he never thought life would turn out this way.

I would not let those folks affect me, if I were you. What makes their opinion worthy enough to take to heart?
I saw that where you told them to leave me alone. Thanks. Bob is upset with your heatlh? Is that your husband? And why is he upset? Bob is depressed because of your health? Life can suck huh?
I see little substance in his posts. He seems to me to have not much else to do other than make his unsubstantiated claims. I think he is a clown.
