Yes, it is a chore now to search out past posts, especially with the database purges. I resort to using keyword searches of a member in the Advanced Search function, or even using Google's site search,

Note the "Tools" pull down option on the page, too.

Given that I make a living consulting on forensic prior art patent matters, teasing out the hidden gems in the internet has become one of my core competencies.

Yup. You would need to create the screenshot then use a tool, e.g., Paint https://www.getpaint.net/index.html with its eraser tool to obfuscate things you do not want made viewable in the image.

A plan like that would require too much thinking.

I suggest that you and GM just post screenshots of your In and Sent boxes to settle this whole matter of who PM'd who first. I doubt that a mod would do the job for that would imply that mods with admin privileges can see PMs.
