Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

I've heard this too, but entertain that even when Peter led gentiles to Christ Acts 10, he was first resistant. He understood at Act 10, after a vision, that gentiles 'could' be Christians, but he resisted take Peter, eat. His focus remained Jewish converts. It wasn't until Paul came to...

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Well, assembly is assembly and His is His. Is there a difference? Of course. They are basically trying to say the same thing: You are Cephas. Upon this rock I will build my church. It means people. It started with Peter's sermon. Was it the first church? It was the first of...

Our earth axis has tilted more toward the sun. 🤔 It isn't the first time. We aren't even tilted as far as we have been in the past (with similar weather conditions). Popular Mechanics thinks it is because we are pumping groundwater :Z

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Try "Assembly" as one meaning of the word. "Church" is the same, though Jews never adopted the term like we have today. See just above: If we overload the term (and we have) we tend to make the word complicated.

RD is telling you, your indoctrination is speaking loudly and ignoring. It tends to be the first thing on TOL. Please read what I said: It means assembly back then and today. Different assemblies? You are halfway there if you follow.

    The Problem With Prayer

Acts 17:24-28 ESV The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man...

    The Problem With Prayer

Or sustaining every one. No counting per say, just a knowledge base much grander than our own exponentially. Open Theists are fond of saying 'all things knowable.' It has to mean # of hairs. That's knowable. No need to # hairs, but it a speculation in keeping with limitations set. I...

They do anyway. Rather the denomination is the keeper of doctrine. It is entirely true you can choose whichever church seems best to you as well. Instead, we look for guidance if we are concerned regarding those we deem biblical. It helps keep us on the straight and narrow because we in...
