Every day is the Lord's, and requires no "special" day of assembly. Assembly is good however, as it is a means of fellowship and learning...without which, young Christians languish on the vine. At the end of the languishing, is a second death.

That verse is about the separation of the fleshly from the spiritual. It is about dividing the soul and spirit FROM the joints and marrow. The word of God can do that.
