6 Murdered in random shooting in US, not worth a mention?

America is about freedom and the individual.
Liberals don't want that. They want government and common aid. Instead of following God and biblical discipline, they want these things to be their god.

Because
They are just the the new generation of all those before who led countries into tyranny.

There's even a proper verse for this:
Ecclesiastes 1:9
That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.

No one cares about those people.

In America, fighting over personal opinions is far more important than the lives of our fellow citizens.

Self-righteousness is what really matters to us, not empathy.

So you agree that we should take care of the homeless and poor citizens before debating whether immigrants should come pouring in to be taken care of :idunno:

You mention self-righteousness: find it a bit odd that so many people want immigrants to come in, under the pretense that we should help others- but yet one isn't helping the man under the bridge right in one's own alley?

Yeah..
Even the one's calling others hypocrites are hypocrites. The bigger ones, even.

I don't support easy or illegal emigration. And I don't see what emigration has to do with there being yet another mass shooting.

I agree that we need to solve our own problems before we go trying to solve everyone else's. Then again, we do have to prioritize. I may need a meal, but if my neighbor is about to be shot, his problem supersedes mine, don't you think?

What does this have to do with that shooting, again?

Other people's problems are our problems. Islam is a problem. Socialist governments create problems for us.

Can you name a single nation where tyranny didn't occur?

I'll spare you the trouble and tell you none exists.

And you know what happened?

I'll spare you even more trouble- they trusted their government.

Liberals want government to be their god, and that's exactly what they get- a strict, ancient tyrant made out of gold.
If "Crucible" wants to claim that God is an American "conservative," perhaps he can direct misguided "liberals" to those Biblical verses that provide a moral justification for the 2nd Amendment or a version of "The Greatest Commandment" that endorses killing one's neighbor!

So now that we've had at least one mass shooting in a traditionally gun-obsessed state, where does that leave all the ammosexuals obsessed with the delusion of "the good guy with a gun"?

At least, assuming any of them remove their gun range earmuffs long enough to hear the news.

Oh please. I wish people had a brain around here. The gun isn't the problem the person is. He could have done the same crap with a crossbow, ore even a rock. People are evil, get over it. When there is liberty there will always be people who abuse it, this doesn't mean we get rid I've our liberty, it means we get rid of those people. This person and all others who commit mass shootings should be killed. You make penalties for gun crimes harsher you will see those crimes go down. This is just common sense.

Or a brain. :plain:

Okay, it's like this. Yes, you can kill someone with a knife or a rock, but it's infinitely easier to kill a lot of someones with a gun than with anything else. If you can't begin with that understanding, whatever you think the response to it should be, then you might as well be throwing your brain at people.

People are evil...You make penalties for gun crimes harsher you will see those crimes go down. This is just common sense.
If the problem is evil then no punitive notation on a book is going to impact it. If the problem is crazy then no speech, no law, no will is going to avert it. So what then is the role of law?

you don't think punitive measures have a deterrent effect?

If I had to choose between the government and the NRA, it wouldn't be "Crucible's" god - Wayne LaPierre!

No, a great many more people die by the use of guns than anything on your list. A list you had to reach across years to sum for the impression.

About 13,000 people were murdered by guns in 2015 alone. And unlike jet airplanes and a few other items on your list, it's relatively easy and legal to take possession of the means to slaughter.

you don't think punitive measures have a deterrent effect?
With rational people, sure. Most murders aren't rational acts. Most of the mass killing shooters meant to end their own lives as part of the process. Punitive measures won't impact crazy or evil.
