Incidentally, the moment that Jesus Christ chose and appointed the apostles to guide and teach his Church in his own name and by his very authority, the magisterial hierarchy was established.

But that never happened. As for hierarchy every man reports directly to Jesus Christ. There are no biblical middle men.

It is noteworthy that by the end of the 1st century A.D., Christ's one historic Church was already being commonly referred to as "the Catholic Church."

The Catholic church became universal through syncretism, some of this and some of that to appeal to everyone.

"We should trust the Magisterium as a whole because Christ has endowed it with his own authority to infallibly guide and teach his Church according to the leading of the Holy Spirit."-Roman shill

He/the RCO just makes things up, on the fly-no scripture says this, or even implies it.

Post your proof.

All someone needs to do is to compare Catholicism with Mithraism. For example, "Sunday was kept holy in honour of Mithra, and the sixteenth of each month was sacred to him as mediator. The 25 December was observed as his birthday, the natalis invicti, the rebirth of the winter-sun, unconquered by the rigours of the season. (Catholic Encylopedia/ Mitraism)

Even if true, it would not equate to "syncretism," as you claim. :nono:

So much, then, for your "proof."

Grace (faith) builds upon Nature (reason). If someone makes a truth-claim, he ought to be able to provide reasonable support for his claim. I'm still waiting.
You have not improved your position. What you have described here is not faith, it's intellect.

So the Bereans came up with a massive number of different interpretations that all contradicted each other? Really?

The Protestants believe the scriptures and do not worship idols, the Catholics ignore the scriptures and make many idols to worship.

You are on the wrong side of scripture.
