Could most modern English translations be in error?

Are you a linguist? Being that I am not, then I have to trust some of those who have taken the time to learn ancient languages for their translations.

I do believe that most English translations are in error. I mean it’s understandable, because even thinking about translating one word into another language, the meaning behind it can’t fully be translated. Of course, some basic words are the same, but when it comes to more complex words, the translation is not accurate for sure. Personally, I am terrible with English grammar and vocabulary, and the process of translating is so complicated for me. I have been practicing with different exercises for the past months, something like punctuation worksheets for example, what help me improve my overall skills.
So someone that admits that their ENGLIGH grammar and vocabulary is TERRIBLE is going to critique the ENGLISH translations of the Bible? Your irony is off the charts.
