Are you backing out of what you said before that Jesus is the one speaking in the old testament.?

He is the Word who was with God and was God from the beginning. Of course He was speaking in the OT. But here we see God, who was with the Word, speaking of the Word. Context is everything.

Isaiah 42:1
Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

GODHEAD OR HEAD GOD

Rom 1:20-22
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
Col 2:8-9
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
John 10:34-38
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods" '?
35 "If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
36 "do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?
37 "If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me;
38 "but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him."
Acts 7:38-40
38 "This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us,
39 "whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt,
40 "saying to Aaron, 'Make us gods to go before us; as for this Moses who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.'
Acts 17:18-25
18 Then certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, "What does this babbler want to say?" Others said, "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods," because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection.
19 And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, "May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak?
20 "For you are bringing some strange things to our ears. Therefore we want to know what these things mean."
21 For all the Athenians and the foreigners who were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing.
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious;
23 "for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:
24 "God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
25 "Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
1 Cor 8:5-6
5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords),
6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
(NKJ)
XXX From the beginning the people had many gods, but for Christians there is One that is Head God. That is the Father of Jesus Christ and Creator of heaven and earth and all things. And the fullness of God the Father dwells in Jesus the Son of God. So we listen and obey all that the Son-Jesus tells us about His God and our God, His Father and our Father. To be in the Godhead is to be in total agreement with God the Father. And we only have evidence of two that are in that Godhead, that is Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit. Another good point that I seen was that Jesus was not in the Godhead, but that the Godhead was in Jesus.

1 Cor 11:3
3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
(NKJ)

1 Cor 6:17
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
(NKJ)

John 12:48-49
48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-- the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
49 "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
(NKJ)

John 14:26
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
(NKJ)

I Jn 5:7-8
7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
(NKJ)
xxx There are only two others that only speak Gods Word Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One God the Father and two subservients Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

The Godhead is not a trinity. The only trinity in the whole bible is here.

Rev 12:9
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

There isn't a different Word of God.

You said it was Jesus and then you say it was the other one speaking.

No, it does not go like that.

You said it was Jesus and then you say it was the other one speaking.

No, it does not go like that.

You don't listen....that's how it goes.

You don't believe what John wrote that the Word was with God and was God. You will do anything to deny what is clearly written.

Jesus is the Word who became flesh, and there is also the written word (Holy Scripture), which did not become flesh. The first is God's name, and the second is a BOOK of God's words. Too difficult for you, is it?

God speaks of His Chosen One in the OT...... who was to come. What you refuse to accept is that there are three distinct persons in our One God. These three persons speak to and about each other. "Let us make man in our image". Did you ever read that?

The Father sends the Son, and the Son sends the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father. You deny all of that. You deny so much of what is written, I don't know how you manage to keep a straight face while you do so.

And so you succeed once again in leading the discussion away from the word of God (the HOLY Scriptures) to keep the focus on your abstract nonsensical ramblings.

I believe Jesus is God.

What you are saying about me is not true.

There is only one God revealed to us in three; not three dofferemtGods acting as one.

One person of the Triune God saying from heaven, "This is my BELOVED Son, in whom I am well pleased." He sounds like a loving Father, doesn't He?

One person of the Triune God, after coming in the flesh, being baptized in the water sees the third person of the Triune God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him. Anointing Him as Prophet, Priest, and King.

Matt. 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Yes, I see all three of them. Too bad you pretend like our great God is only the man standing in the water.

Yes, you deny the person of the Father, and the person of the Holy Spirit. I know that.

You are wrong.

There is God the Father who is Spirit, invisible, and lives in unapproachable light.

There is His Spirit that goes forth without limit and lives around and in the saved.

There is Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God the Father with a body.

Those three are the same.

When one speaks it is the exact thing the others speak.

There is only one God, and Jesus is that one God.

What you believe is a denial of distinct persons in the Trinity.

From your post here:

Spoiler

There is only One God, and He is the Father.
If Jesus is God, and he is, then he is also the Father.
There are three, and the three are One and the same.

The trinity doctrine is false, as it makes three different Gods.

The trinity doctrine says there is a God the Father, another God the Son, and another God the Holy Spirit.

God is Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.

Jesus is the Spirit.

God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three, and the three are One and the same Spirit, One and the same God.

God the Father is Spirit

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

The Holy Spirit is Spirit.

Mark 1:8 I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

Jesus is the Spirit.

Revelation 2:29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

2 Corinthians 3:17, 18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

You say: One God in three

"Three" what? Persons? Spirits? :idunno:

Last time I asked that, she said three titles.

I can see from the post you brought up that she uses all the names interchangeably and inconsistently. One day this one is God and the next it's another. I've never seen anyone as confused and yet adamant in her confusion as GT. :sigh:
