I know flu vaccine effectiveness varies each year. And, many people do not get vaccinated.

Maybe. It is he norm we have chosen to live, a death toll we tolerate. Many co-factors vcome into play. The flu's death rate is lower than covid pre-omicrion. When co-factors matter less and a virus can harm the most healthy among us, a different response is indicated.
When armed medical professionals come into Congress and forcibly vaccinate Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Biden, Harris, and thousands of others then I will believe democrats may finally agree that vaccine mandates have gone too far.
The problem with the covid vaccines is that they do not prevent covid infections and, in fact, do cause too much more harm than good. Just because the world has been deluded into thinking otherwise is no cause to support forcing everyone to take the dangerous and deadly vaccine that wise people know does not work the way the leftists claim.
