I am a tad dismayed at all the rejoicing for this tax evader and law breaker. :nono:

The only charges that stuck were "structuring" which is a bogus
and unsustainable law/charge,
and 'contempt of court' for mailing a letter of appeal from prison.

Read about the case please.

By the way, churches have been historically exempt from taxes for 200 years,
and income-tax was a "temporary" measure introduced in wartime.

I wish you were a tad more dismayed that
a Christian pastor was imprisoned by a PEDOPHILE prosecutor...

John David Roy Atchison

Following his arrest, he tried to kill himself via hanging with a sheet in his jail cell on September 20, 2007. Atchison had been removed from a suicide watch the previous day after assuring his lawyer and a judge that he would not harm himself. He was not injured in the suicide attempt, which another inmate reported about 4 a.m.[6] On October 5, 2007, Atchison committed suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell.

"...one of the US Attorneys on the team, J.D. Roy Achetson was arrested after my trial while going to Detroit to have sex with a FIVE year old. "

I did read about the case Naz, and he got 9 years for something, so unless you feel the IRS had a personal grudge against him, which would mean you are a conspirasist and that would be surprising to me, or the fix was in, he got what he deserved under the law. no man is above the law. No ma is an island. Jim Baker got what he deserved and apparently so did Hovind.

ANY pedophile deserves what he gets, but THAT is not the issue. The ISSUE here in Hovind.

So good to see sensible people around.

I did read about the case Naz, and he got 9 years for something, [sic!]

So although you 'read' about the case,
you have no idea about the details or the charges,
or the charges which were dropped,

or the fact that "structuring" is a 'law' which is currently
being challenged in the courts.

I just presented you with incontrovertable evidence that
the prosecutor was a pedophile who was going to rape a 5 year old.

Who cares about conspiracies at that point.

No man is an island. Jim Baker got what he deserved and apparently so did Hovind.
That is your reasoning?

(1) I guess we can hope you get what you deserve too.

What do you think that might be?

(2) Bakker was guilty of committing adultery with his 'secretary'.

Have you got anything like that on Hovind?

(3) Bakker was a televangelist. Hovind was a preacher.

Do you think all preachers are televangelists?

What grade education do you have?

ANY pedophile deserves what he gets, but THAT is not the issue. The ISSUE here in Hovind.
Agreed.

And so far you've assumed without any evidence that:

(1) Hovind was guilty of tax evasion, when he wasn't found guilty of it.

(2) The IRS doesn't steal people's money, when there is copious evidence they DO.

(3) The court process was fair, when the judge was a rabid anti-Christian,
and the prosecutor was a pedophile.

(4) Nine years in prison is the normal sentence for contempt of court.

(5) That all televangelists are criminals, and Hovind was a televangelist.

(6) Apparently that Florida ISN'T the Drug Depot for the whole USA,
and that the CIA don't operate it.

What planet you from bro?

Haters hate Hovind because he is a real preacher and a real man of God, not an effeminate CEV reading, homo hugging
, compromising idiotic like Joel Osteen and the other imposters that the world loves.

Roger that.

The Barbarian for instance is the opposite kind:

(1) gay tolerant

(2) prefers catholicism to Christianity

(3) prefers Evolution to Biblical teaching

(4) prefers educational authority to religious authority

(5) complacent with modern culture.

All of this kind of compromise is the easy way out.

It makes a preacher a reflection of current culture and fads,
and not a reflection of God's truth.

Like I said, I read up on it BEFORE I posted. I made my opinion known. If you don't like my opinion then ignore it.

There is no doubt Hovind is litigious, and I can't be bothered following his soap opera. We are instructed to live at peace with the government authorities, and he obviously does not want to do that.
Many people thought Jim Baker was unjustly persecuted, as did the followers of Jimmy Swaggart and many others.
IMO, he got what he deserved.

He got what he deserved? A decade in prison. Even if you think he is guilty, you think he deserved a decade in prison?

Only effeminate homo huggers are after hovind. He preaches the Word and is persecuted. One thing I do hate with a perfect hatred are so called "Christians" that hate the LORD. The ones who use Christianity and pervert it to support their statism but they really hate the LORD and His word.
