Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the First Amendment set in place to allow the worship of the One True Elohim? Did the authors have the false worship of false elohims in mind.

No. It was meant for all religions (as Jefferson said). Truth doesn't need to be protected by laws. And as a hated religious minority conservative Christians aren't in any position to determine who gets freedom and who doesn't.

Maybe the families of the witches who were burned should sue.

The founders were not opposed to Islam per se as a religion . They would have had no problem with peaceful , law-abiding Muslims settling in America . Which the overwhelming majority of Muslims are .

We would rather generalize and turn all Muslims into evil religious fanatics. Much easier to hate them all that way.
