Hi Bob, we've never spoken before but i feel compelled to pick your brain so to speak since i heard your fourth debate with our very own fool.

i know a little bit about your ideas for a biblical theocracy, but there's one facet that i'd appreciate some detailed clarification on, and that would be the penalty for homosexuality.

what i'd like is a detailed, step by step outline of the investigation, apprehension, incarceration, trial, conviction and execution process as you would see it happening in a biblical theocracy for the crime of homosexuality.

i wouldn't like a one post answer covering all of the above. what i'd most appreciate is as many gorey details as possible for each of the steps i put forward. obviously i'd like to go in chronological order starting with the investigation.

if you like we can use an imaginary gay couple as the subject of the discussion to make your points a little more vivid for myself or anyone else who would like to read or participate. we can call them Michael and Rico. i'd like to know what an investigation would entail, beginning with how the authorities catch wind of their activities and what legal steps would be required to begin an investigation, what evidence would be necessary to obtain a warrant (if a warrant is even required), and at what point an arrest would be justified.

How much money would all of this cost as well? And would the death penalty be an option? If so, then how swiftly would it be carried out. How would "sodomy" in jails be dealt with as well, being that there are probably more "sodomites" in the correctional institutions than all of the rest of society at large.

I'll jump in here real quick as someone with a passing knowledge of Bob's constitution (which can be read at his site). He's got a home grown justice system which pretty much consists of local judges (no jury) and the witnesses, and the acused. Death is for certain if convicted of homoism. and there's no jails per se. Minor crimes get restitution or lashings. So a hypothetical homo case would be three witnesses (say the mail man, the pool boy, and the electric meter reader) look thru someones window while their in a homo act. They bust in and grab the perps and march them down to the first tier judge (no more that ten houses away) and tell him what they saw. The judge hears the case and with three witnesses it's open and shut and the homos are executed within 24 hours.

YIKES! There goes Red Lobster! According to the Old Testament, it is just as much of an abomination to eat shrimp as it is to be a homo. So does the same apply if you live on the coast and find people eating at a seafood place? :CRASH:

I've noticed theonomists get very cagey when asked about specifics. North, Rushdoony, DeMar, and Enyart all talk a good game but shy from the nitty gritty much of the time.

When a fag...er...homo...er...person of alternative lifestyle choices is seen engaging in doing the nasty with his "partner" a team of jack booted thugs will be alerted whereupon they will kick in the bedroom door, beat the 2 men just for the fun of it, and then haul them off to jail.

The next morning the video will be shown before any fundamentalist baptist layman chosen at random to be the judge, jury and executioner. The trial will be secret, closed to the public and will only take as long as the video lasts. Upon the inevitable conviction, the layman will be rewarded for his public service by getting to be the one who decapitates the sodomites with a sword ala our current day muslim terrorists.

Jeff, the least you can do is give a straight answer. If you people want to revamp our criminal justice system you could very simply provide an answer to allsmiles's question.

Maybe you don't have one, dislike the answer, or know your answer would be downright appalling.
