MAD is not the Gospel Paul taught.

You are deceived!

~~~~~
MAD has nothing to do with it.
Romans 1:16-17New Living Translation (NLT)
16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
Nevertheless, not by our own faith, that's a false gospel of works!
Believing the Truth is the evidence of being Righteous.
How? By the obedience of Christ in the behalf of all He died for John 10:11, 15.
Rom.5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,
so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
The ones Christ died for are made Righteous By His Obedience, not their own;
in the exact same way they were made sinners by Adams's disobedience, not theirs!
Your gospel is a mess. You use Romans 5:19 to refute Romans 1:16-17. :duh: Neat, according to John Christ died for ALL sin.
You aren't able to comprehend the Truth in scripture due to the fact that the devil has blinded your mind 2 Cor. 4:3-4.
The God of the Bible is not the same God of Calvinism. The God of the Bible, "So loves the world that he gives his only begotten Son, that whosoever that believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.
The Bible depicts God as being "Long-suffering and not willing that any should perish" 2 Peter 3:9. The Psalms written by King David, paint a picture of God as being kind, just, merciful, righteous compassionate and long-suffering, Psalm 86:15.
But the God of Calvinism is none of that. The God of Calvinism predestinates billions to hell for no reason other than they were born after Adam. It is not our fault that we are sinners, its Adam's fault. We are born into sin, Psalm 51:5. We are sinners without works. You cannot make yourself a sinner simply because you were born into sin.
"For as by one man disobedience many were MADE sinners" Romans 5:19.
We inherited sin from our first Father Adam. We all have Adam's blood coursing through our veins. This means that the God of Calvinism is unjust because he sends sinners to hell. No one should be sentenced to hell because they are sinners. No one will go to hell because of sin, they will go to hell because of unbelief and rejection of God's Son, Jesus Christ.
If you are going to believe in Calvinism, then you must believe that God creates and gives life to people that are reprobates. He creates and gives life to these reprobates for the sole purpose of sending them to hell. How can anyone have faith in a God that would do such a terrible thing as this?
Salvation always has been and always will be by faith. It is not humanly possible to have faith in the mean, cruel, unjust, unrighteous God of Calvinism.
Greeetings Robert,
Cool Thread!
I agree with your opening post almost entirely. There is just one point I'd differ with you on and that this....
"For as by one man disobedience many were MADE sinners" Romans 5:19.
We inherited sin from our first Father Adam. We all have Adam's blood coursing through our veins. This means that the God of Calvinism is unjust because he sends sinners to hell. No one should be sentenced to hell because they are sinners. No one will go to hell because of sin, they will go to hell because of unbelief and rejection of God's Son, Jesus Christ.
The part I put in bold is only correct from a certain perspective, in sort of a semantic way. People are Hell bound because of sin but not because of Adam's sin but because of their own. The solution to "original sin" is found right in the passage from which you quoted...
Romans 5:18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Further Ezekiel 18 (the whole chapter) destroys the notion that God ever intended to punish anyone for sins that were not their own.
Having said that, I agree entirely with the point you're making which is that God is just and that if we have a doctrine that teaches that God does things that are unjust we need not fix the word "justice" but rather we need to fix our doctrine.
In the Gospel, sin, death and the devil have been abolished by the doing and the dying of Jesus, Colossians 2:15.
Now, there is only the question of who believes and who does not believe. The judgment will determine that. Those who do not believe will have their sins imputed back to them, Romans 4:8 and they will be condemned.
You teach that millions for whom Christ has abolished death for, shall yet wind up in Hell, the second death! You are in contradiction!
Those Christ lived and died for are reconciled to God while they are unbelievers and enemies Rom 5:10!
All that Romans 5:10 is saying is that... "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8.
Who is the "US"? The us is those that believe, John 3:18.
