Ah, now I got it; The elect were always saved, but not really saved, so Jesus had to come to make sure they were really saved because they were not really saved. Sweet..., I missed the part where it says that Jesus came to "legally" save his people. So now I understand. God saved them "by the Eternal Purpose of God in Christ Jesus" "
before the world began," then created sin and the curse of death, so the elect would need to be "legally" saved, so that Jesus could come to legally save them from the sin that God created. Therefore, God saved Jesus's people
"before the world began", unsaved them by creating sin and cursing them to death, and then cursed and killed Jesus, so that Jesus could "save his people from their sins"; sins which God had created, to unsave "his people" in order to curse Jesus, to save "his people".
God came up with a great plan and a really efficient way to do it.
And I wonder why Jesus wept over Jerusalem?
Apparently Jesus didn't know the "eternal purpose".
It's quite interesting that you believe God would purpose to damn more of the beings created in his own image and likeness, than he purposed to curse and then save, and do so by cursing his own son to die because of sin that God created.
Really?
"All of
this Great Salvation
is foundationed" solely on a purpose whereby God created damned babies, would not save them,
sent Jesus to be cursed and killed, for people who were never going to be damned anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..................And YOU call that "this Great Salvation!
Who told you that "his people" are a few 'elect'? To consider that
your "Great Salvation" would give God glory, demeans the character of God far below that of Satan's, who apparently was a puppet of your 'sovereign god'.
You may be right; however,
Romans 5:15-21
"But not as the offence, so also
is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace,
which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as
it was by one that sinned,
so is the gift: for the judgment
was by one to condemnation, but the free gift
is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound.
But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.",
rips your "Great Salvation" to shreds!
