17 Year Old Shot And Killed By Cop

God have mercy! I watched the video again, focusing especially on this 17 yr old kid, and ANY thing threatening from this kid, or ANY thing that would prompt this officer to find ANY thing dangerous about this kid.

This kid was SCARED. Alone, in the dark with a crazy-power hungry police officer, armed and bound and determined to do this boy harm, if not kill him in cold blood.

And by golly he did.

This is just WRONG.

Insisting you can understand or interpret another country based on how we do things here is completely ignorant, to put it mildly.

Silly boy. This has nothing to do with how we "do things here", but on whether people are the same on the other side of the pond or not. There are just as many bleeding hearts in the UK as there are here. In fact, there are probably more per capita because they have always been a sissy lot on that side, and they've had longer to develop that particular weakness.

Nope. That's what he did.

In cold blood.

And now you sound like a run of the mill pig-headed ignoramus. Bravo.

:idunno: There are some differences to be sure, but to think that we can't understand British??? Its not like we never talk or share media or anything....

Why was THIS the bone of contention you chose to pick? :idunno:

Simple. I refused to join in their cop bashing fest. Now, they're having a fit and forming up a lynch party. :chuckle:

Provide his license and registration when asked. Then explain to the officer that his headlights were blinding him. Then after leaving, make a report to the police departments captain.

Then live to tell about it and then perhaps petitioning the state to change the law about flashing headlights, since thats illegal in michigan.

The cop kicked the phone, I posted the video.

No, the catalyst in all of this, is that the young man went out deliberately without his license and registration, bent on recording a police officer in order to post his encounter on the internet.

Evidence ? You are making some bold claims.

He willfully violated the law in both doing so on drugs and refusing to provide required license and registration and since he refused, he was being arrested which he then resisted, and assaulted the officer, which resulted in the end of his life.

Pot isn't really drugs, it does not cause violence. You would make a terrible reporter.

The senselessness happened on the part of the kid. Those are the facts. Your conjecture, is irrelevant.

You summation is wrong, the cop didn't even let the kid try to explain. Cop at fault.

LOL!

C'mon, you know that officer was wrong.

No, the kid was wrong. Not only wrong, but he was an idiot. Not only was he an idiot, but he was proud of being an idiot. Not only was he proud of being an idiot, but he wanted to catch it on tape so he could post it on youtube.

It's like those idiots who jump off a roof into a kiddie pool and wonder why they break both legs....but at least they get 5,000 hits from people who like to watch idiots being stupid.

It's close to impossible to imagine an abuse of police power so egregious or obvious this crowd would condemn it.

It really is, but this is all recorded. The cop should have established whether the kid had his license with him or not. He was basically arresting the kid for no license; not the lights. The cop was hell bent on taking the kid to jail, but decided to save the paperwork and just kill the boy. 17.

My take on it, is that the 17 yr old was terrified NOT to record it. As he said, he was recording it for his own safety.

I don't blame him. EVERYTHING was indicating something sinister, from the very beginning.

If an officer targets you, and sets up circumstances to put you between a rock and a hard place, you're dead. Call the funeral home, and tell them you'll be there shortly.

Speaking of police and how police cannot possibly be corrupt and a clear and present danger to ANYONE at ANYTIME:

Another case of stupid people. The guy was going to pull over as we all should. He listened to his wife and kept driving. Had he pulled over immediately, the cops would have escorted them to the hospital. Without an escort, the frantic dad with his panicked wife beside him could very well have been involved in an accident before they even got to the hospital. Good grief....what is wrong with you people? Has common sense completely disappeared?
