I grew up on Dairy Queen. The parking lot across the street was the school hangout in the 60's.

Dairy Queen is excellentamundo(Warren buffet, as I recall, at one time, had a huge stake in the company). My ex-girlfriend's nickname is "DQ," and I will always remember having lunch with her there, on a beautiful fall afternoon, this past fall, and they had a huge "DQ" emblem in that restaurant, that I wanted to take, for her!

It's nice to eat in sometimes, plug in the old hot plate at Mrs. Mendelbright's.
