Favorite sandwich, my Mother's. She takes chicken or turkey that she baked the previous night and slices it in large meaty chunks. She adds mayo, both sides, to potato bread, salts and peppers, adds cheese, cheddar and or swiss, uses fresh lettuce and tomato, also lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. It sounds like anybody's sandwich, but it is not. I can get close often, but when I want one that tastes right, I go to Mom's. It is flat-out, the best and I'm not cook slouch! I can make a good sandwich. Another is a place near the Seahawk's home turn called Mack's. They smoke their meats, all day outside in smokers, even if it is raining (a given this side of the nation in the NW). They make a sauce from drippings, bbq sauce, and Jack Daniel's and dunk the entire briskets in this sauce, and soak it there. They liberally load a sandwich beyond its capacity to hold all of it and after that I've fainted and can't tell you anymore without having to drive up there immediately. Pork, chicken, beef, all are incredible, smoked, dripping, piled decadence.

I have seen and heard of fantastic brisket and it's the smoking that does it. Hours of smoke and sauce/drippings. I have yet to try but that place sounds great. I am a consummate meat lover.

Dude. Peanut butter and Maui onion on toasted wheat bread. It sounds bad but it's delicious.
