America has proven over and over again that it does not want to end abortion. The democrats are up front and honest about their desire to keep it legal. The Republicans lie about ending abortion as every time they have been in a place to actually do something meaningful, they don't. They can't afford to as they run the risk of losing a large percentage of their voting base if they ever actually ended abortion. That is the political reality of America today.

More importantly, most Americans support keeping it legal.

They won it. But they also had to work really hard and really fast to reopen government because when they shut it down, people were really angry with the Republicans for doing so.

It is a foolish political tactic as the American public feels the pain of lost services and paychecks while congress is completely unaffected.

If you want to stop funding then get the constituents of a senator and congressmen to call and right their representatives and tell them to end funding our I vote for somebody else next time. That they will hear.

Planned Parenthood does not force women to have abortions and it has never rounded pregnant women up and forced them to have abortions at gunpoint . The story about them supposedly selling body parts was revealed from the beginning to be a blatant lie started by
the radical anti-choice organization "Center for medical progress ."
This criminal anti-choice outfit deliberately doctored videos to make it look as though PP sells body parts, which it does not and has never done . PP is a non-profit organization and no one gets rich working for it .
