The Eternal Purpose of creation !

He was already preordained !

This world was Created for a redemptive from sin purpose for Christ ! All things were made for Christ so testifies scripture Col 1:16

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;ASV

Now the all things would include Adam, he was Created for/unto Christ,

So lets look at this creation narrative Gen 3:1-6

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

This is when sin entered the world created by God, Rom 5:12

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Now even in light of the creation narrative in Gen 3, before that even took place, the scripture testfies of Christ, 1 Pet 1:19-20

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

See that ? Christ was foreordained BEFORE the foundation of the world, and so before the circumstances of Gen 3:1-6 ever existed !

What was Christ foreordained for ? Look at 1 Pet 1:18-19

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

To redeem certain ones with His Precious Blood !

Now lets look at the word redeem in 1 Pet 1:18

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

lytroō:

  1. to release on receipt of ransom
  2. to redeem, liberate by payment of ransom
    1. to liberate
    2. to cause to be released to one's self by payment of a ransom
    3. to redeem
    4. to deliver: from evils of every kind, internal and external

Christ was setup/preordained to redeem from evil, pay the ransom for sin before the world began.

This wasnt because He foresaw something was going to happen outside of Himself, but it was according to what He purposed within Himself in Christ, an Eternal Purpose Eph 1:9

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 3:11

11 According tothe eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

This redemptive purpose in Christ Jesus is Eternal, formed before the creation of the world and Adam !

Amen to both parts !

All things were made for Christ Col. 1:16 including sin.

Christ Jesus was set up, or preordained from Everlasting Prov. 8:23 in the Eternal Purpose of God Eph. 1:11 exclusively for the ultimate good of God's Elect Eph. 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:2; Christ's Church whom He was Head of before Creation; and in the Mind and Purpose of God was slain before the foundation of the world Rev. 13:8 and risen as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep Heb. 13:20 Justifying them from their sins Rom. 4:25, as their Covenant Head and Surety Heb. 7:22; Is. 53:6.

Is. 53:10
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

1 Pet. 1:18-20

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

Scripture clearly attests to the fact that it was God's Purpose and Pleasure to to Create sin for Christ Jesus to Save His People from through the Blood of His Cross Heb. 12:2.

All things that have been made that includes some Angels, were made for Christ Salvation. Heb 1:13-14

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Yes, these angels made for Christ's Salvation were made ministers to God's Election of Grace, who were saved / justified before the world began 2 Tim. 1:9 to be heirs of Eternal Life Titus 3:7; Heb. 1:14.

The angels were Created for a Soteriological Purpose involving the Heirs of Salvation.

Heb. 1:13-14

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

I'm not seeing that Scripture saying angels were created before time began. It is possible I suppose... but it also is possible that angels were part of the 6 day creation. Ex. 20:11 says "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them"

In Gods Eternal Purpose which was determined before the world was created Eph 3:11

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Within this Purpose God had already determined to gather together all things in Christ Eph 1:9-10

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

So the sin of Adam was purposed by God before the world was created. Adam didn't sin by accident, nor did he sin contrary to Gods will. Adam sinned according to a redemptive purpose in Christ established in God before the world began.

In God's Eternal Purpose, Christ was the designated Covenant Head and Surety Heb. 7:22 of His Body the Church Chosen in Him Eph. 1:4-7 to have forgiveness of sins from Everlasting, before Adam sinned. The Chosen Body of Christ is the "all things" gathered together in One, in their One Head Christ Eph. 1:10.

So that's why Adam sinned, because according to God's Eternal Purpose Eph. 3:11 in Christ, he was the designated Federal Head of all the Body of Christ exclusively; and Christ was the Lamb Slain from the foundation of the world Rev. 13:8 to save His Body from their sins.

10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Gods Elect were in Gods purpose to be redeemed by Christ's Blood before the foundation of the world. It tells us in vs 20 Christ was foreordained for this redemptive purpose BEFORE the foundation of the world. This means that before adam was created and sinned, Christ was already set up to be manifested in the last times to shed His redeeming Blood.

So why do so many in mans religion believe that it wasnt Gods will for adam to sin according to Gods Eternal purpose in Christ Jesus ? Would God rather not adam to sin even though He had foreordained Christ before the world was created to redeem His elect by His Blood.

Man's religion believes that his freewill decision is what determines whether or not the Death of Christ is effective in Salvation or not:

Making the Eternal Purpose of God subject to the will of the creature; trusting in themselves and their own abilities [works] to get themselves saved which is totally wicked: antichrist
