:sigh:

I keep seeing homos and drugs, homos and drugs. Yeah. Some people have really weird priorities, I guess...

I believe I'd like to see a society governed on the order of Plato's Republic.
As I grow older it becomes evident to me that we are not created equal and we are not endowed by our Creator with equal talents and abilities.

I always knew you like murderers like Stalin, Hitler, Guevara, Mussolini, Hussein....

Guevara is the only socialist I see on the list, Stalin killed the communist dream, the rest were on the right.

Again you should your will full ignorance. I don't like it therefore it must be a socialst, shows a very limited intellectual approach Nick.

I take it "required to participate in civic duty" equals "required to vote".

Explain how taking away a citizen's right to NOT vote is somehow better for society as a whole.

If the only people running for office are corrupt bureaucrats who will only worsen the condition of the country, does it not become "civic duty" to ABSTAIN from taking part?

I assume that you do not consider yourself a "corrupt bureaucrat who will only worsen the condition of the country"?

So what's stopping you from running for office?

The same thing stopping the you's and me's from attaining any kind of power, and keeping the same group of families which have always ruled this country ruling it.

Money they were born with, which they never had to work for, and which keeps rolling in because they invest it in deposit expansion instead of the actual economy.

For government, you need a guy in control. And a guy in control who is in control for life. Through thick and thin. Countries run by a procession of people only in charge for a short time are simply wasting good experience.

So a dictator?

So when somebody kills one of your family members you have to forgive them and cannot retaliate? Sounds great.
