Gen Z: Least Christian generation in US history

Gen Z Is the Least Christian Generation in American History, Barna Finds Teenagers today are the most non-Christian generation in American history as only four out of 100 teens hold a true biblical worldview and one out of every eight teens identify as non-heterosexual, a new survey released by...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

The Bible may say that the earth "hangs on nothing", but it's just as clear that the earth is sitting on pillars (1 Samuel 2:8)..."for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them"

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

I think a lot of Christians here at ToL (maybe even a majority) would agree with you on that. The main difference between them and you seems to be merely over which aspects of cosmology are part of this atheistic conspiracy.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

I don't know what that is. Just because a conspiracy is ineffective, that doesn't mean the conspiracy doesn't exist, right? ;) Sure. Dave, what do you think is the motivation behind the spherical earth conspiracy?

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

The existence of hundreds of millions of "Christian evolutionists" suggests the above just isn't true. I suspect it's the same as what creationists argue, i.e., that if Satan can convince you to go with the conclusions of science over the truth of God's Word, then it's that much easier to get...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Well, I suppose I could jump in and attempt to debate a flat-earth vs. spherical-earth, but IMO some things are just too ridiculous to debate. Instead I preferred to note the obvious parallels between Dave's rationale and framework and those from some of the creationists here he's arguing with...

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Oh, I think it's a very valid point. It may be a point that some folks would rather not have to think about or deal with, but it's still quite valid. Exactly. Yet some here do that sort of thing fairly regularly with groups they don't like....gays, Muslims, Catholics, atheists....

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Funny how that works with some subjects and beliefs, but not others.

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Dave has made it quite clear that just like with his creationist beliefs, his flat-earth beliefs stem from Christianity. In other discussions here over the years I've seen Christians cite extreme and/or crazy beliefs of a few members of a group as reflective of that group as a whole....Muslims...

    Isn't Christianity fun? :chuckle:

The earth is flat and we never went to the moon

Then we all should be used to it, since that's no different than what we've seen from 6days and the other creationists around here. They all pretty much operate according to that framework, the only difference being which areas of science they apply it to. For Dave it's the shape of the earth...

A demonstration of the nature of creationism (and 6days)

Since I joined ToL, I've made it pretty clear that the main reason I'm here is for entertainment. Specific to interacting with creationists here, it's the entertainment value in watching them contradict themselves and do everything they can to deny reality. This comes from my years of...

Fake news: Gobbled up by conservatives, debunked by liberals

We Tracked Down A Fake-News Creator In The Suburbs. Here's What We Learned So they tracked the guy down and he agreed to an interview. Huh....imagine that. I think this is going to be an emerging theme in the coming months and years....Trump voters were duped and conned, both by...

Obama's approval ratings higher than Reagan's

Barack Obama is now viewed more positively than Ronald Reagan was in 1988 President Barack Obama is now at 52% approval according to Pollster.com and at 56% according to Gallup. Reagan was at 51% at the end of his second term. The only president in recent times to exceed either of them? Bill...
